Why they do it

At $1/$2 these players exist to call. Raising feels aggressive to them - it means they'd have to commit. So they just call down with hands they should be folding by the turn. Their range is capped and they know it, they just don't know what to do about it.

The adjustment

Value bet relentlessly. Three streets with top pair good kicker is not ambitious here - it's correct. Don't slow down because the board got scary. They're not on the scary hand.

What it's worth

Calling stations are your most reliable profit source per session. Identify one early and build your value range around them. Easy $60-120 over a long session if you don't overthink it.
