Recs who make a successful hero call feel like they cracked the code. They got a read, they went with it, they were right - and now they think they can do it again. They can't. That was one hand. But they'll call down three more times tonight trying to recreate the feeling.

The adjustment

Don't bluff this player for the rest of the session after his hero call. He's in call-mode and he's not folding. Just value bet him and let him pay you off while he's feeling himself.

Bluffing the hero caller after his big moment is one of the easiest ways to donate chips at $1/$2. He's not folding. Value bet or don't play the pot.
