Why they do it

Early winners at $1/$2 go through a phase where they feel untouchable. They loosen up, start seeing every flop, and stop thinking about what you have. It never lasts. But while it's happening, they're printing money for the table.

The adjustment

Tighten up and wait for a hand. When you get one, let him build the pot. He'll do all the work. Don't try to bluff him - he's not folding anything right now.

What it's worth

One big hand against an early winner on a heater is worth more than three small pots against anyone else at the table. Be patient and let it come to you.
